QBP Scanner

QR, barcode, DataMatrix and document scanner. Everything on device.

iOS

QBP Scanner reads QR codes, retail barcodes, DataMatrix and the rest of the common symbologies, and it scans paper documents into clean, multi-page PDFs. All of the reading happens on the device with Apple’s Vision framework: camera frames are decoded where they are captured and are never uploaded anywhere. There is no account and no sign-up — you open the app and it works.

Scans land in a history you can actually manage: folders to group a batch, search across everything you have read, export to PDF, and an optional iCloud backup that mirrors your codes and documents into your own private iCloud, off by default. Scanned links get a redirect-chain safety check before you open them, retail barcodes can be looked up against the Open Food Facts open database, and payloads can be encrypted on device with a password only you know.

Questions, bug reports, feature requests: email me and I read every one.

Restore purchases
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. Your subscription is tied to the Apple ID that bought it, so signing in with that Apple ID on a new device is enough. Subscriptions are managed under Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your device, and refunds are handled by Apple.
Delete your data
Everything the app stores lives on your device, so deleting the app removes it. If iCloud backup was on, remove the app’s data under Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage. There is no account and no server-side copy to ask us to delete.
